Thames Valley University Students' Union
As soon as you enrol at Thames Valley University, you automatically become a member of TVU Students' Union. The Students' Union exists to support and safeguard your welfare and interests throughout your time as a student, promoting student participation and representation for all.
Thames Valley University has a very diverse student community and students are studying a rage of course at different levels both full and part-time and also provides a range of services to help you get the most out of your time at university.
The Students' Union is affiliated to the National Union of Students (www.nusonline.co.uk)
The aims of Thames Valley University Students' Union are:
-To further the educational purposes of students at the university
-To advance the education of its members
-To develop social, recreational, cultural and sporting activities amongst its members
-To organise mutual trade between the Union and its members, including the provision of licensed facilities
-To act as a channel of communication between its members and the Board of Governors, staff and other bodies within the University
-To empower its members to achieve the most from their educational experience in the University
