What is the role of a Faculty Rep?

The main purpose of a faculty rep is to be your fellow class mate’s voice on the faculty board meetings (Which meet once a term).

Also being a rep you become a member of student council, which is the Student’s Union very own governing body. As a member of council you can then tell your Student’s Union what issues are going on at a faculty level.

So if you want to get your voice heard then sign up to become your faulty rep.

What is the role of a site committee member?

The purpose of having site committees is so that you the TVU student can talk to your Student’s Union about non academic problems you have with the University.

Being part of your site committee you will also help promote and co-ordinate SU activities on your site. This is also something that you can put on your CV to help boost your future job prospects.

So if you want to help shape how your University is run and looks then join your site committee.
